As a resident of the town, I have to admit that I’m not too familiar with Burlington. However, when I moved into a new apartment, I was surprised to find out that two of my favorite places were in Burlington. The first was the Burlington Coat Factory, which is located at the corner of Colchester and Champlain roads. It is owned by Bob Evans, who is also the owner of Bob Evans Food Inc. My second favorite place was the Oakville tile store just down the street from Burlington’s downtown area.
When I visited Burlington, my husband and I couldn’t help marveling at all of the beautiful, hand-crafted tiles that were for sale at the Burlington tile store. We walked from end to end of the main floor, looking at every angle of the building, until we finally came upon the restrooms. Surprisingly, there were no bathrooms in the building. The owner assured us that he had other plans for that section of the building, but that the tiles would be perfectly fine for the other two floors.
I was interested in seeing what kind of cleaning services were offered in the building and so I asked one of the cashiers if there were any. She told me that there were three types of cleaning services provided by Burlington. The regular janitorial services included sweeping, mopping, and light cleaning. The second type of cleaning service that was offered was carpet cleaning and upholstery cleaning only. She also told me that the owner had other janitorial services available.
When I was finished looking at the Burlington tile store, I was really impressed with all of the work that was put into the bathrooms. Most of the tiles had been laid by a crew of local artisans and the floors were actually laid by machinery. The backlash was done by an expert carpet cleaner and the tile store did an excellent job of sealing the tiles and the backsplashes. I was very impressed with the quality of work that went into each of these projects. I was able to see the effort that had gone into each tile while walking through the store.
The kitchen cleaning section was the best part of the store for me. I was able to see a wide selection of cleaners that would make my sinks, countertops, and oven sparkle. Some of the products on the shelf were even brand new, but I had to check to make sure before purchasing them.
